ok, the blitz datascan software, whats it like compared to the consult, i know they are similar and ive heard the consult is better but does the datascan give you as much info as the consult?

Yes its a great tool.

is it possible, to get datascan as a copy? or is it only available as a purchase? i know im a cheap skate, but this car is crippling me as it is...1 yr ownership, engine out twice :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal

The software itself is about £15. The Cable is the expensive part due to the electronics inside and is around £50

I have used both.

 

data is the one I bought as there isnt much between teh 2.

No Vijay - our cable is not compatible with the Datascan software.

 

I think the main reason people find the Datascan tool more useful when doing incar diagnostics (ie whilst driving) is that it utilises a bigger screen with analogue dials.

 

Other than that our ConZult product is better if you're after diagnostic/workshop/tuning purposes (but I'm biased ;))
