Ive spent the day stripping and flatting back all the centre console trim etc to paint, Cant decide if should go body colour RED or satin type silver ?

I think Red might look a little over the top ?

What colour is the upholstery, if its black I would go fo silver although red would match the door edges. I also presume the dash is black.

Red would look awful IMHO. Just too much.

 

I'd go for quite a dark silver though.

Silver sprayed centre console looks good.

 

Red would look chav IMO

....yes, I know it's a Vectra, but something along these lines....

 

...even lacquered would look nice if it was dark silver.

 

i think it has to depend on the colour of your seats and door cards mate,

if youve got black id go for silver.

ive got cream upholstrey so ive got my centre console flip red/gold/bronze in fact ive gone the hole hog and sprayed the speedo surrounds, air con controls, door lever surounds ect. i couldnt resist it :D

Seats are black leather doors are black. I think i already decided on silver anyway so twill be done forsooth

mine was silver,

 

 

but i've since replaced the centre console and again sprayed in silver, then fitted a brushed aluminium dash kit....

Thats the look Silver it is

i'd keep it black tbh, but then I dont like painted dash's at all.

Then again I can't say much, mine has fookin wood trim on.
