i bought a house in spetember of last year, and have been trying to borrow money on the mortgagae ever since, as it was better to get a lower mortgage and loan (100% mortgaged) to cover the house cost and then remortgage after a month and pay the loan back
but ive been trying to do this since october and there have been lots of probs, and its costing a fortune in mortgage repaymenbts cause i cant get a better rate by switching the mortgage
so after months of shite with solicitors, ive found the reason i cant remortgage is because the solicitor dealing with the house sale forgot to submit the land registry in my name, its been nearly five months and he was paid on the completion day for a full completed mortgage, so i own the bricks and motar but not the land and its costing a fortune on a high interest rate mortgage
so i was wondering if there is anyway of being compensated for this or is there anyway of threatening my solicitor with any other type of legal action to get this sorted quick
cheers in advance
Allan
