doesnt like pulling away?

hi all

 

my n/a auto doent like pulling away sometimes mostly when cold,(has done it when hot)

put your foot down and it moves abit then seems to stops ,then it will jump in to life and away you go .

its a pain as it always does it at cross roads etc theres always a car coming towards you but theres nothing you can do untill it kicks into life again .

Had the same problem for age's with my uk TT, then i wiggled the black socket on the top metal water pipe at the front of the engine while it was ticking over and the engine note changed.

Switched it off, removed the plug and all the contacts were green, cleaned em up and sprayed WD 40 up the inside of the socket refitted it and hey presto, the car now launche's off the mark.

Can only think it's the cold start sensor or something sticking and the ecu thinks its warm when it's cold or visa versa.

Give it a try, it worked for me. :dance:

Hesitation...... TPS voltage, Dirty throttle valves, out of sync throttle valves, Running rich (o2 sensors, temp sensor) ..etc Do some searches on Hesitation or any of the above
