Whilst messing with the missus's SWB,I noticed it aint' got pre-cats?

Now this is a 1989 car,mine was a 1990,thing is mine had pre-cats!

So is this because it's a shorty,or because it's an early model?? :confused:

Want to sort this as I need to get some de-cat pipes and don't know whether they will fit! :rolleyes:

    There was a single pre-cat introduced from 93 or 94 onwards if i remember correctly, I have only seen 2 cars with the pre-cat on both 93 UK cars , pre-cat os located on the passenger side

    we did this on Herman Munsters car 2 years ago and we had problems getting de-cats for it so just knocked the pre-cat and main cats straight through

    he will only have to make one side as the other side will fit fine
