What it probably means is drive around the last part of your journey without using your turbo, ie driving slow. Depending on how you have driven the car should indicate how long you should need to go easy on her.

I typically take the first 10 minutes easy (or first couple of miles) meaning that I dont use the turbo until the engine is fully heated up etc. Then do similiar at the end. Apparently sitting idle isnt as good as allowing to cool back down itself.

watch the boost guage. Keeping it off-boost means out of positive boost, so less than zero.

Not sure if it starts working then auomatically but I noticed that it generally does come on at 3500 in mine. You will be able to see when it comes on with your boost gauge in the dash, although known as inaccurate.

think yours is an NA mate

Generally boost kicks in at 2500rpm or thereabouts. The effect is particularly pronounced in first gear if you pull of with exceptionally low revs (i.e. nearly stalling the car), and then boot it. The engine will climb steadily to 2500 rpm and the car will accelerate very unimpressively even if floored, then the turbos will kick in, boost will suddenly rise, and all hell will break loose as your rear tyres light up and the back end goes mad. I've been caught out by that more than once.

just keep to below 2500 revs in the last 5 mins of your journey thats what i do (i use the tubby timer for battery and afm reading!)
