On my way back down to work this afternoon, it's a sunny afternoon and the roads are nice and dry and my car is no longer silent...but rumbles with a nice deep throaty(non porn version) resonance at low revs and full on boot!!!

 

Anyway, have to do 30mph over the Menai bridge as the wind is still tryin' fookin' hard to get one of those things with wheels off into the Straits.

 

So get back onto the A55, foot down as everyone else still assumes that they have to drive about 60 miles to the nearest motorway still doing 30, fuckers!!!

 

See this silver car in the distance, he seems to be going nicely but then I think he may have seen me in the distance in his rear view! So he fucking boots it big time, must admit it disappeared rather rapidly.

 

So I'm now in two minds, do I cain it to catch up for a race or am I in cruise mode instead? Nah I'll leave it! So I get upto about 80 and I notice that the silver exocet figure has got caught up in traffic which has slowed its progress somewhat! OK then, so I boot it and appear on his ass so quick he must have thought I'd beamed down from the Enterprise right on his tail...ROFL

 

Anyway the Granny brigade finally get out the fucking way and I see the Accord bog down as he's chaning down and then he floors it...as to be expected! So I've still got overdrive on and I give about 3/4 gas so mine kicks down and off we go! Well fuck me, I am super glued to his rear bumper.

 

I kid you not, we were making some rapid progress in a short space of time aswell. So get to about 120 and he decides to pull over and see if I can pass him! Errrrr yep! Cruised past more like at 130 going on for 140 waving at him...SEE YAAAAAAAHHHHHHH Rice Boy!

 

God knows what I would have done to him with the O/D off???

My mates dad has one and they are damn quick cars.

2.2 litre VTEC, 212bhp, 0-60 in 7 seconds and 140mph top end.

 

They're fast saloons...but watch out for the unmarked ones which are owned by several English Constabularies.Usually in plain silver or blue!

I left a Prelude VTec for dead a few months back when my car was running right!!! He was going for it too but it didn't matter a toss, I just cruised pass with ease!

Why is it that everyone around N.Wales does 30-40mph & is willing to hold everyone up, that is so bloody selfish don't you think?

You're not wrong mate, I was driving through Brum on Friday in the roadwords. Not only do they have SPECCS everywhere but also signs warning about un-marked video cars. I looked over to the right and in the middle lane coming past me was a Rover, the bubble shaped new one? 214 or whatever, two rozzers in.

 

My bloody car broke down on the M56! Bloody thing! Luckily I got it back though by unplugging the Mass Air flow meter.

I'm getting an error 12 code on the ECU. At least the fault is now a permanent one rather than being intermittent!

Anyone got a cheap MAF (AFM) out there for sale?!!!!

Strange that Shaun, I was telling you about that guy on here who had spent months trying to work out why his car was cutting out and idleing rough. He took it to SE and it was the MAF!
