I went around it 17 times last year in the Z and every lap seemed to be so diffrent, its unbeliveable, you will wet ya pants...

Yeah, if you've not got it already - get Grand Turismo 4 on the Playstation 2 and it got it replecated perfectly... You can even try it with a 300ZXTT on this game!!! :dance:

I have a dvd called 'in car 956'. Produced by Duke, its basically a camera mounted in the car and they race you round a few world circuits including nurburgring. The incar footage is amazing! A must if you guys wanna be getting round under 7 mins lol :D

When we went last year hours of practice on the playstation and Xbox really paid off. I managed to get the Z car on the playstation set up exactly the same as the real Z.

It really paid off at some of the fast corners that were flat out in the game but when you got there your balls tended to shrivel and I either lifted or braked the first few times.

Then I decided to be a man and take them flat - it gave me such a huge confidence boost and I was able to take a good half minute off my lap time.

Around 9 min 30 was my best lap from the 15 I did on the my visit.

The trick is to build confidence slowly.

As said above each lap is totally different the conditions change constantly - remember it was designed to be as hard as possible.

Going back in three weeks :dance: :dance: !!!!

Yeah i set the z up in gt4 the same as my car - even down to ride hight - wicked

 

Only problem is, its black not red!

 

Planning on going in september this year and cant wait, anyone else going around sept?

Depending on how the money works out I may be up for another trip late sept.
