right, i have a pc that belongs to my daughter, that has windows me and windows 2000 installed.

 

how can i get rid of the windows me ?

cant even find disc manager mate

 

looked in system tools, but nothing there.

im not sure if they are partioned or not

Right click My Computer on the desktop the go to Manage. in there on the left find Disk Managemant. click that and on the right will tell you whats going on with the drives etc,

Because they will share the same directories for some parts, it is easier to wipe it. Especially if you are unsure of how to go about it....

ah,,,so you dont have an XP CD then? Yep, that is gonna make it more difficult...;-)

i do now, just downloaded it lol

save everything you want on cd/dvd, then go into the BIOS and set up your cd/dvd drive as first boot device.

then restart and boot from cd and follow instructions
