Any help much appreciated!

I'm in the process of installing Eibach springs and have hit a snag...

Got the first front shock out easy, but I can't dismantle the shock to remove the spring. Tried molegrips on the shock shaft, but they just slipped.

Anyone got any top tips that don't involve serious garage tools?!

I've got new shocks for the front, but I'm hoping to re-use the rears which are only 2 years old anyway.

Alternatively...

1) Does anyone have the top mounts & gators from a set of shocks? (Or any shocks for that matter)

2) Does anyone have a spare fully assembled front passenger side shock & spring?!

Cheers,

Mark

Cheers bud! I'll see if there's a way of sorting this closer to home first, but if not I'll give him a bell :-)

Take em all off, go to your local garage and ask them to undo them. Will only cost £20 or might not charge at all.

Mark after all the calls  did you get it sorted matey

Cheers Ryan, getting there! Got the fronts done, ran out of time for the rears. Know what to expect now. See what you mean about which springs fit where :)
