Zed fuel pump flow rate?

Does anyone know?

Have any of you upgraded your fuel pumps?

If so what to? And what did you do with your old one?

Hi Jezz,

Regarding uprated fuel pumps on the Z, I don't think anyone has upgraded theirs because aparently the Z fuel pump is good for silly BHP figures, and even the stage XIII Zs don't need to upgrade them.

Cheers,

Brian

Can I squeeze one into my S13 then?

I want I want.

Do you know what pressure the Zed FRP runs at, are there two FPRs or 1 common rail?

Jezz.

Z's fuel pump is in tank

There's one fuel pressure regulator, and one fuel dampener (to damp the 'pulses' from the pump). The FPR varies based on vacuum, at idle it is ~37psi, when presented with atmospheric pressure ~42psi.

So is the S13's in the tank.

Any idea of what the flow rate is?

Can you take a picture of the FPR for me?

Is it adjustable (other than the vacuum)?

Basically I want a cheap fuel pump & FPR mod for my S13 before piston meltage becomes an issue. The S13 pumps are only good for about 250bhp which I'm at now and I'm looking for 300-330.

Jezz,

And look at this picture http://www.angelfire.com/ca2/NooLimits/ssliines.jpg - it's the brass thing, top right of the pic (notice they have it hooked up backward!)..

It's not adjustable though I'm afraid, other than by vacuum..

And I can't seem to find a flow rate for the fuel pump - but it's enough to supply six 720cc injectors at max chat...

Cheers Aaron. smile.gif

I only want it to supply 4 440's smile.gif smile.gif
