Massive thankyou and total REZPECT to Andy Duff! Top man!

Andy fitted my Blitz zorst today in weather conditions the SAS wouldn't get out of bed in!!! LOL biggrin.gif

Got to meet Shaun who is a North Wales native aswell...top bloke.

Ohhhhh the lovely sound of a Blitz exhaust on a winters evening whilst mooching home on the motorway. Bloody fantastic.

So big thanks to Andy, Lynsay for holding the brolly and Andy's Mum for the brew.

Timmy you junior LOL!

Cruising on the motorway it's just like stock, nice and quiet mate but you notice that lovely throaty rumble on foot down at lower revs. So round town etc. will be lovely jubbly!

Induction kit? No mate, poor Andy along with me and Shaun were well and truly soaked by the time we got the zorst done. I'll crack the induction kit next weekend I think, in the garage where it's nice and dry.

Got yer text mate but I was driving and the weather was nothing short of fucking hideous. No more than 60mph all the way back into de Wales...Aiiiiii!!!

Nice one! I didn't have much luck on the way home mind, the car just died on the M56! So I had to pull over onto the hard shoulder to try to fix it. Luckily, I found that if I unplugged the MAF the car would start & drive, so I managed to get it home like that. I wasn't amused that I couldn't do over 60mph though! I was being overtaken by Rover Metros!!!

One good thing that has come out of this though is that the diagnostics on the ECU show a definate Error code 12 which means that the MAF is knackered! I suspect that it was probably on it's way out anyway & that this also had something to do with the idle problem (could be wrong mind).

Anyway, I must say thanks to Andy for helping me sort out one problem that I probably would have never found for myself.

It was good to meet Tim and Andy. They're both sound guys. I can now put a face to a couple of the names on the forum!
