Anyone know or able to measure an engine with the gearbox attached?

 

Need length width and height. Or a rough but good guess will do.

 

I'm picking up an engine with gearbox together at the weekend and looking at my options on how to move it.

Back of an Escort van type size, or perhaps an estate car. Gonna be tricky getting it in though ...

How do you plan to lift it. The engine on its own is a struggle for two fit blokes, the gearbox also weighs about 50-60kgs. Fork lift required.......

you'll still struggle getting it in position though! i'd separate it personally, as when I had to load them up they were seperated already but still a real PITA!!

Well it is sitting on a pallet at the mo, so it will be a case of lift it, reverse van so its inside, then drop it, push it back a bit if need be. I'm hoping!
