Hi all - my wife has had a quote for £1000 for a J-Spec 1989 (f) TT.

0 years NCB (Shes always been a named driver).

Houghtons will do it for about £400 if we have a 2nd runaround car - we were thinking of doing this but to pay our for another car sort of defies saving the £600.)

Flux came in at £1100.

Insurance4U quoted us at £1K Fully comp.

Anyone know any other ones for women in Zeds :)

You must be old :x: . Just kidding. My girlfriend has used Diamond before who seem OK and cheap enough. They do allow men to be put on the insurance too instead of woman only.

Diamond wouldn't insure me they said the 300 was too big

Lol, I found it difficult for insurance purposesfor myself (21) but my girlfriend was no problem but didnt find out any quotes (shes 24). Just keep looking, you will get one.

I find most of the specialists are best. I use One Quote or something. I will find the number out when I go home for you. Fully comp £1700, 1 year NCB, 0 points, low crime, accident 2 years ago, with GF having having 3 points. Best price I was able to get, but I am still classed in boy racers territory.

Why the fook should women get insurance cheaper than men?

One of lifes biggest mysteries.

If you started an insurance company for just men....JEEZE. The shit would hit the fan.

AND...we all know women can't drive...so what's that all about???
