I need better brake discs as the stock ones are no longer up to the job!

Yes a set of Skyline brakes will bolt straight on.

Are these discs grooved? Or just bigger and better?

They are 330mm instead of the 280mm that comes standard on a Z.

You only need the fronts.

Thats the way i went.

I rang loads of breakers and found front and rear brembo's off a skyline, huge improvement IMO. £500 front / £250 rear (i think) was i while ago, and bolt straight on.

Jap breaker in/near norwich.

R33 or R34 ? or do they both fit? Im guessing they are going to be much better than EBC upgraded discs for the zed?

They both fit straight on, though the 34's require a very minor mod of drilling the caliper holes out slightly bigger. FYI the GTR's are 324mmx30mm.

Just be careful that sometimes the discs can be a bit naff when buying these kits second hand, usually a good bit of age and often heavy use, calipers are good though ;)

Yup....Skyline set-up is twice as effective, especially with a set of discs n Pads from Da Man Smithy :bow: :-
