...cheers for inviting myself, Legrath and Danny into your home for drinks and a natter.

Good to meet you. :)

As soon as my dead Zed has a new heart, I'll be back up for one of your wonder chips.

Good to meet you both and see Danny again.

Kinda reminded me there are a load of good people on here too.

Did you get an engine sorted out yet?

...I'll add that we actually...or rather I, invited myself et al round. :o

Not yet. Thinking we may have sourced one through Jason at SouthWestZed, so may have one before too long.

Don't at the minute, but if you struggle, can see what's available in Japan.

Did you find a rough price for them....just for interest sake. :)

Thanks also to JD for all the jobs he did on my car last weekend too. Apart from being a top fella his workmanship and knowledge was first class.

Si, If I can borrow a compression tester from someone I can test my block for you.

Its running at the moment, but like you know - turbo seals on their way out.

Done 130K mind you.

Strong engine tho - sure its faster than my new SWB with same mods.

Removing starter off it today but can prob fit an old one to it to crank it over unless theres a manual way of doing it matey.

Just a distance thing.

Big up JD - one of the people who made / make this forum great.

I thought he had left, never to return? What was that all about?

my engine might be for sale soon, but your fooking miles way, and it's still in the car.

I thought he had left, never to return? What was that all about?

Was just really pissed off with the forum at the time, at the minute I'm not. Toys are back in the pram.

Good man John! You're a veritable wealth of knowledge and I'm sure the board will only benefit from your being here.

I know you're not into static shows so much, but hope to see you at Japfast (Castle Coombe).

Fair enough mate. It has cheared up a bit now I think you'll agree. I wasnt being funny. OK maybe just a bit. But your thread did kick up a lot of a stink when you left and left the forum in a state . Maybe thats what it needed? Anyway lets hope you enjoy being around again. :) I certainly didnt want to see you go even though we hardly know each other. Its never nice to hear that someone is that pissed off they are going to leave. It only becomes stupid if its done for affect?

I'm glad your back...... :duffer:
