Rad filler bottle...

Hi,

 

Can someone just clarify that the rad top up/expansion bottle is 'not' sealed and pressurised but alows the expansion of coolant to and from the engin.

 

Just want to make sure...

    The expansion bottle also has ahole in the top where the spout goes up under the inner wing this is a over flow if rad cap is faulty .
