First time I ran the car low on fuel the light on the dashboard came on. Fueled... and went off as it should. Another time it didn't come on at all... Now it's on all the time... even with full tank??

Any ideas people???

Hi

I've got the same problem. I've been told that the sender unit is u/s. new ones are £130 from Nissan. Or take the bulb out if you fancy dismantling the dash.

cheers

The needle is fine. It's just the reserve light that's on all the time. Is there any wire under the car that might have a bad connection?

It could be worse mate. Every time our fuel light comes on, the alarm system locks or unlocks the doors and the immobiliser light flashes. It gets more and more persistent until you fill it with fuel.

Very odd!
