When im driving around on a morning (or just when its cold and car been sitting for a while) there seems to be a lot of smoke coming out the back, Is this normal for a zed??? :x:

depending on if its white(steam = condensation in exhaust from startup normal) or blue smoke = burning oil poss turbo seals as a worst case sinerio

What colour??? Mine seems to give out a white-ish smoke for the first few miles and then it all stops :)

i'd say its just the normal that you see out the back of cars however just seems like there's quite a bit thats all

Zeds do pump out a lot of condensation on startup, especially at the moment.

i aint got no cats in mine, so just imagine what its like for me lol

When I start off briskly or kick the tail out i get some smoke out the back. Does anyone else get this :confused: :confused:

i get the white smoke on first start up in the morning but clears up fairly quickly. If i leave the car for a week or so without use the first time i give it some there's a bit of dark (can't tell what colour, prob black by the look of it) smoke and it sort of judders, like it's choked or cutting out.. then it clears up.

 

anyone get that?

Mine doesn't smoke until it warms up and then its a white colour. If the car is stationary it does it for a while but soon as its driven it stops :confused:

Kev6 - Yep i get exactly the same - mine is decatted TT. Recently drove it after it had been laid up for a month and got darl smoke out th eback - scared the crap outta me but it quickly settled after a quick blast on the motorway. Reassuring to know it isnt just me!
