Ok it looks like the garage i picked my car up from have managed to get tyre shine on the tread of the tyres as I tried wiping the tread and the same muck came off as from the sidewall( kinda explains why the back end was so slippy )

Any ideas on how to clean the tread to get it off, was wondering using something like fairy powerspray or just go do a mad burnout.
