TV Shoot for Sky 1 on 13th Feb at Rockingham raceway.

 

Sky one and Max Power Magazine are shooting a new programme to air in the summer at rockingham raceway on 13th February and are looking for Audience participants for the day.

 

Everyone would need to be at Rockingham for 0800 in the morning so everything can be put into place ready for shooting to start as early as possible.

WHY??

Zeds are used to show off speed, power, and performance.... they use two of them in there shows.

I think Zeds are a big part of Max power only because these "boy racers" want them and really cant afford them... so its nice to see them there...

Max Power is one of the worst car mazagines human beings can buy. Also, they have stated many times incorrect performance statistics. Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't they put up a 0-60 time of approx 7.5 seconds for a TT zed?

 

It's a trash mag, keep it for serious magazines. :)

 

I was only saying the above out of jest, I just hate Max Power/Fast Car/Shedline style magazines.

Pmsl! I'd probably get less punishment if it was drugs than for going at 39 in a 30mph zone (at midnight, on a two lane road).

Well I personally like max power... fast car..... redline.. and banzai mag... I am into the JIN jap import scene...

they give alot of usefull links.. i think i found this site by one of those mags..... ie in the specialist section.. so it cant be that bad... ok some stats are crap.. i agree..

but i found you lot... didnt I?

Most of you modify your cars... ie wheels etc.. and performance etc.... and there are alot of usefull resources in these mags.. even special offers... which are good.

If you dont buy the mag thats ok... I like it cause the woman are hot.. the cars are hot and the amount of help and information (correct information) I have recieved well out weighs the cost.. so dont buy the mag.. dont turn up... but dont beat the heck out of them if its not your taste.... find a job or a hobby... get a life basically..

I more than support our club... and alot of advice on here is wrong as well.... Its wrong all over... but you got to use every resource possible...

To tell people to get a life because they find a trashy magazine for spotty teenagers 'good' is in itself good intent to 'get a life' as you so nicely put it. I have a job hobby and life thanks very much and it doesn't revolve around slags with their tits out, the cruiser fraternity and OTT bodymods.

 

I fail also to see why having an opinion about a Mazagine has to do with the support of this club.

So what exactly is happening? Is it some sort of track day or is it going to be a mini-trax? Sounds kinda cool anyway none the less. Would be good to have some members represent the Zed for TV. :D

couple of points. I appreciate we all have our preferances. I for one would not listen to heavy metal.... or what ever... the point i am making is that yes we all have views on situations. I happened to find this club by what you call "max poop" which to me was a good thing.

It also appears that what ever I have typed lately you have had views against anything I like etc and to be fair I shouldnt have told you to get a life and hobby.... so for this I am sorry. I was just getting really peaved that these mags as good and bad as they are... they are a valuable reasource for products etc....

Make your views... thats fine with me... but please dont try to make hidden puns after my posts.. which seems to happen on a regular basis...

Thing is with Max Poo. It did used to be a very good magazine in its infancy some 10 years ago. I remember originally, it was a bit like a tongue 'n' cheek version of Car and Car Conversions.

 

Today though, and I'm not having a go or being an ass, it's still got good resources...somewhere, but the amount of junk in there that you have to wade through just makes the mag seem so wishy washy.

Yeah, cool mate! I'm working all weekend anyway so be good to see ya if ya got time! Also if your down this neck of the woods tomorrow night and facying a party, we're having our house warming party starting at 7:30... It's the old Police station in Redruth (No really it is!!! it's been converted into a 3 bed house..) We're telling everyone to bring a bottle!!!
