Need Help 300zx running problem

First of all just saying hi to everyone on this site only joined today bought 300zx a few weeks back 91 TT import. Not sure but think car is running in safty boost ive got an aftermarket boost gauge that reads 0.5 bar at full boost and also when at this level sometimes car will back off sharply then speed up again like a misfire or something??? ecu has been replaced by a mines unit and aftermarket filter installed also on another issue when window is down i can smell fuel is this normal???

 

please could anyone help thanx

    The fuel smell is probably the pipes in the engine bay being a bit loose and needing a retighten, you have to remove the centre cover to get to em all and watch out for the one on the right hand side under the FPR as its a pig.

    I think the standar boost is 0.6 bar?? Anyone know for sure?
