in a TT approximately how long should this take as i times myself tonight and 10seconds (which to me seemed a bit slow)

 

This was of course on my own private test track :x:

what gear were you in what was the conditions of the road how long had yuo been driving your car

Was in 5th gear (should have said)

Roads cough test track were ok, was only about 20 mins ago so look out of ya window :x:

had been driving the car for about 20 mins back from middlesbrough

:x: on my own private test track looks similar to the M5 J7-J8 i can hit zero to 100 in 12.5 secs so yours sounds very slow to me :x:

yes but i mean cruising at say 80 in 5th then just putting ya foot down

 

from 0 - 100 would probably be better as i get to 60 in 2nd so i'd probably be in 3rd or 4th at 100

:bow: mines an auto but if i boot it at 80mph i would say approx 4/5 secs to hit 100 mph but then i get kickdown and full boost so would expect a manual to be slower than this as you arent on full boost :headvswal

well i dont know if is just with it being an auto to manual conversion or what but just when ive seen stellaz car go it much better than mine, i know he has more horses under the bonnet but seems like a big difference.

Auto vs Manual is going to be any different. Well actually, if both stay in 5th gear like you said the Manual would be quicker.

 

Not sure what difference a Auto>Manual converted car would have. Less power than a standard Manual, but slightly quicker spool up. Prob no real difference.

Dont matter about excuse gear changes mate the fact is an Auto will kick a manual right up the arse up to 100mph.

I reckon 80-100 takes about 2-4 secs...IMO
