:hyper: Brought it in today... and to my suprise and shock... it passed with nothing wrong... :hyper:

I was SHOCKED. he stated that when he drove it in and around the block.. (family friend.) that he noticed one of the rear brakes was sticking slightly.. but it didnt show up on the tester... he said i should clean them ... so will do...

he also said the brake pipes normally rott on these cars and was shocked to see mine in perfect condition...... he recommended some old oil or grease to coat them to ensure they stay fine....

First MOT since it arrived from japan... horrah.....

all is fine.. he did comment that my fog light bulb needs to be painted as you can just about see some white but apart from that nada... zip .... ziltch... nothing...

first mot since import? needs to be MOT'd to be registered ;)

sorry first one that i had to do... and i am the first owner... it has all import docs from last year and its mot.. but they do the mot and sva together... on the first one... and mine passed... i had no involvement at that time of its life..... but the shipping company i used did..

Nice one John - I've had all my brakes pipes done over the last 2 years and that's about it apart from niff naff and trivia.(headlight alignment and a missing wheelnut)

still cant jump for joy (and wouldnt try believe you me.. lol) but more and more on the possitive side....

and WTF 40£ for a mot... omg.. i remember the days when they were less... oh yeah.. that was just last year... and even less the year before.. gone up about 50% in only 3 years or less i am sure
