Know any good claims companies?

My mum was in Tecos doing shopping and one of the wheels came off her trolly faling over and taking my mum with it.

Now 3 years ago she had her spine rebuilt with bone graphts and metal cages etc, she cant work and her back is very very fragile.

Now she has lost all feeling in both her legs after the fall. She wants to wait a week or so to see if it gets better and if it does she wont follow any action against tesco.

What really pissed me off is that she was there for over an hour before I could get there to get her home, during that time they brought her a few coffies, then when i arrive they ask for the money for them! FFS Tesco's the bigest retail shop in the UK cant spare a few coffies for a customer who is badly hurt due to their equipment.

This weekend is getting better and better.

Wheres those beers

any of the claim companies will help, however your mother will have to file the claim as she is the persuant. if her injuries are down to a faulty trolly then yes tesco are responsible for the safe upkeep of all items used by the public in store or on premesis.

speak to at least 3 claims companies and then choose, dont go with the first one, also have a solicitor chack any contract they offer you to sign, if they say they cant wait thats crap as they can.. let an independant solicitor check it over before signing it, he can tell you about hidden clauses.

good job you paid, or they would say they gave the coffee to her as compo

i was in tesco once and one of the plebs working there rammed a cage into a pregnant lady and didn't stop, had to wait with her for 10 minutes before someone that could string two words together got involved.

a claim company will go for a quick fix, better to get a solicitor and try for a bigger payout.

a claim company will offer you a deal if tesco offer it to you and will say take it, however this is upto your discression, you would then need to get tesco to admit fault if they admit fault you should press further for more cash, the important thing is getting them to admit fault, and that wont be easy im afraid..

Sounds about rite mate

there is one thing that you have to consider, they say that all bad things come in three's

well bud thats the third, things have got to start too look up now bud

my story, is from B&Q i picked up a bottle of thinners by the top (i know i shouldnt have picked it up by the top), and as lifted it the top came off and the bottle hit the floor and went everywhere.

two mins of standing gaurd and warning people of the danger of a slippy floor, some liitle punk that worked there passed and i collared him (cause he was just gonna walk straight past) i explained what had happened and he said to me "what do you think i should do" so i said "FFS go and get a mop" so off he went, and by this time the thinners had soaked straight through my jeans and shoes, he comes beack five mins later and says "there you go bud just hand the mop back to the bloke behind the counter when you are finished"

i just walked away fuming, and that is a true story
