My new Zed is dead. Cambelt did not snap one of the 4 cogs seized with the other 3 still turning ripped the belt teeth apart :(

Dont know about the internal damage not bothered to go that far.

Anyone wanna buy a Zed with a nackered engine?

Most likely got the description of the problem wrong so the tech heads that know that what ive said cant happen, save it.

"You may notise by my tone im in a fooked off moode today" :mac1:

FFS mate - really feel for ya - understand why you're totally pi55ed off.

****ing hell dude...not fair is it. I went through a similar stage that you're going through about 5 years ago so I know almost exactly how you feel....misses walked out on me, 2 friends killed in car crash, was made redundant, mother ill in hospital and car decided to self distruct like yours did. All within the space of about 2 months.

It's hard mate, but there's always life at the end of the tunnel, it'll just take some time to pull through, but be head strong and you'll come out the other end, held held high pronouncing that 'I don't give shit, throw me your worst'.

ffs nick, talk about kicking you when your down.

keep your chin up.

ian.

The only way i deal with bad news is with humour, so in reflection of your other bad news, take note from e bay, and sell her cheating arse nude pics to raise cash for the engine mate

thats the very same as my engine :hyper: but goods news for you it may only be the cam sizesd so just get a second hand head for quick repair and your working again.

mine when i got it stripped found to be the pully locked as no oil was getting to the cam easy repair just need the engine out :headvswal

its just not your day is it, chin up though its saturday, you can go out tonite get lashed, forget about your car and go out on the pull

tomorrow is another day bud and it will be a better one at that

nxt step is to see what caused seizure, then go from there oil pump, lack of oil etc

sorry to hear of your news nick, hopefully the bottom end will be fine, and its just the topend thats failed,as topend tends to fail first, hence why you heard your lifters i guess

chin up mate :(

Damn. If its not one thing its another. Hope it does not cost a fortune to fix. Sorry to hear about it.

Konrad
