Right, not sure if anyone remembers, I posted a thread asking about Mazda RX7 PCDs. After finding out they were the same as zeds, it crossed my mind that an RX7 which is due to be crushed by customs for non payment of dues has a set of 18" Seinna rims on it. Now they are similarish to the ones on my zed at the moment. These are much deeper dish with a flatter rim giving the wheel more definition.

 

Now the cars are going to be taken away soon, but have asked around and been told if the cars are not claimed (sat for nearly a year now), then I am welcome to them.

 

So here they are. They are in reasonable condition, the rims have scuffs on them, but will be laithed off, taken apart and rechromed. Will chrome the centre part of the rim too. Get new gaskets made for them and rebuilt.

 

Not entirely sure how much this will cost, but if all goes to plan then maybe the sale of my rims will cover that.

 

Anyway, here they are....bearing in mind they are filthy so have little shine and the picture quality is poor as I took them with my phone.

The cars are all heaps. They need to have demurrage costs and Tax paid on them first which will cost more than the cars in their current state are worth.

 

The cars will be seized by customs.

Well, they are mine anyway if this all works. Will fit them and see what they look like. They look a lot better in the flesh. Very eyecatching and not much different to my current one....which I guess you probably don't like either.

I think they are very nice. Some people just don't have good taste like what we have matey.

Everyone's tastes are different(you can read that as some have taste, some dont ;):rofl: ), but If their similar to your current rims, but with a deeper dish then they'll look superb !!

I like split rims or split look rims. Only rims to go for really IMHO, with wider ones at the back.

not keen on multispoke or 'bbs' look rims, but if theyv got a nice deep dish could be good!!

 

you obviously like them tho bud, so go for it, it would be boring if we all turned round and said yes!

they look allright, but I prefer the ones you have currently.

one good thing si! rims that style are normally very light,TBH looking at them i think there much better than the ones you have currently more subtle i do prefer a nice 5spoke though

Here's some more pics of them fitted to the RX7. They look better here. They are filthy though, so not much shine. I'd get them chromed like mine totally if I were to fit them.
