Hesitation

Story goes.........

 

Whilst waiting for the car length 40mph gap in traffic at a T junction........

 

Gap arrives foot down......pause.....revs....drop to 400-500....pause.....come on baby...scrap yard beckoning...whoosh...into gap...close shave.

 

I now cannot trust the beast (92 TT Imp) any ideas... (plugs fairly new iridium)

    That kind of hesitation is most often caused by dirty/misaligned throttle bodies.

    Clean them and check the TPS-voltage afterwards.
