Engines

Just a quick question and apologies if it's one that's been asked before but what is the difference between the long block and short block engines?

 

Also what models were they fitted in etc?

    i thought they were all the same size :confused:

    I could be wrong here because because I am not an expert on americanisms, but on the zed, long block rebuilds refers to a complete rebuild on the engine including the top end i.e. the heads.

     

    Short block refers to just a bottom end rebuild!
