GOOD NEWS: As some will know I got my new wheels and the tyres were a bit on the big side? F:245/45/18 - R@275/40/18. the space between the outer edge and the inside of the arch was about 5mm at the most. I have had some Dunlop SP's fitted now F:235/40/18 - R:265/35/18. (edited) Thats better.

BAD NEWS: I got some M3 style mirrors with built in indicators and side lights. Lovely item look great but the backing plate is too small and doesn't fit on the 300zx??? I dont know if there are different fitments on the 300zx but these are far too small. I spose I should email the supplier but thought i would ask on here if they do infact come in different sizes or should they all be the same???? Just to make things clear I mean the triangular plate the mirror is attatched to on the outside...

Cant remember what its called mate. Quite common I think and quiet too. theres a better image in my rides..

When the mirrors you bought of Ebay where posted on here there was concerns if the plate would fit?? I will do a search for the thread and post here, but for now your best off contacting the Ebay seller as loads of Zs are going to suffer with this problem. Manta was right here is the thread.

I think I am going to get the angle grinder out and fit the mirrors to my original plates. My mirrors are these ones>mirrors

I really like them. Just what i wanted.

You can get a 'universal' base plate mate-basically a piece of plastic you cut to size! LOL!

If your gonna fit em' to your base plates bud-go steady!!-there aint a lot of 'meat' on em'!

can be done tho' look here......http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=48109 :D

No mate I was going to put them on Ebay for about £150 for the four + postage. they have about 4-5mm tread at worst and are in pretty good condition. as far as tyres can be in good condition that is. LOL.
