NATS alarm

Does anyone know if my car had a NATS alarm fitted as standard ?? It's a import 2+2 TT auot. K plate 92 car. It has some sort of alarm fitted but it doesn't work and I don't know what it is. I'm told that I can't fit a Diferent CAT 1 alarm system if I have a NATS fitted due to something to do with the ECU...Realy need advice on this ASAP, car was broken into the other day and was wanting to get it properly alarmed right away.

    Phil, check with http://www.safeandsoundchester.co.uk. Bob replaced the Nissan alarm that came with my Z with a Toad AI606 Cat 1 alarm and immobilisation system.
