Right thought i'd put up a very rough draft for the planned Euro trip.

 

 

Get into Cologne for 19th June spend 48 hours there taking in the England Football Beer festivle then onto the ring which is only 55 miles from Cologne

 

Few days around the ring then free to do what ever else, those are my basic ideas for now. If we can all agree on this then i'll start looking at the ferrys, earlier we book the cheaper it is

 

The Ferry is working out about £125 each return this includes a inside cabin to kip in

 

I spent almost that getting to Dover & back so £125 is a cracking price, we'll need to book within the next month though i'd say.

now I get the point why u asked me if anyone else sleeping in the hotel (maybe for a group price)... I asked the time you asked me, but so far, no chance, nobud's sleeping down there (they live too close for not driving back! :) )

 

Now, one question from my side (for little org)... as I guess you'll have to recover from the 20th, will you do the Köln - Ring trip around EARLY afternoon (even around midday?)? You'll have to count if I remember well 2-3 hours of driving (I know, it's feasable in 1 hour, but I guess not everybody will be ok with that idea :rolleyes: :smash: :wack: ).

 

What I suggest, is that you leave around 11AM Köln... and get your lunch near the Ring, there's a very good place to eat, just near the second little entry of the NürburgRing... just a suggestion from my side :cool:
