1. How much is a fair price to pay for one of the original flares for a jap spec Z?? I know there was on Ebay for a tenner plus a tenner p/p but it did not sell, and I would like one.

 

2. On a Traders website on here once I saw a polished S/S battery tie down with the Z logo etched into the top which I quite liked, are these still being sold?? who by?? and how much?? as I believe they where about a tenner when I saw them.

battery tie down D.T.A. ???? but as far as i know ALL chrome goodies are on hold due to sub contractors not supplying, this is the reason why i got absolute total crap for xmas instead of bits for my motor E.G. speedo rings, rad cap top, battery tie down, brake fluid cover, so on and so on. Lets hope somebody pulls their finger out caus me birthdays in FEBUARY !!!!!!

The reason why I wanted the flare is just to make everything more authentic in the Z, to me its like not having the Targa bags, rear parcel blind, original tool kit and original floor mats. I have all these things which a lot of owners have missing from their Zs, and just wanted a flare to complete it all.

can't you make a fake one to make it look right without having the legal complications of it

i dont think its illegal to own the flare but it is illegal to use 1 in a public enviroment i still have my flare but its in the garage
