ok guys, count me OUT of this group buy now, i HAVE to have these by next week as the cars getting done, i have a tight schedule and couldnt risk not having them so have got the Eibach's from luke at ZCentre, he still has some left i think if anyones interested and needs them quickly... £150 delivered by the way...

 

i also posted on another thread about tension bar bushes and luke has also sorted me out with fully adjustable rose jointed replacements, so after 2 weeks i'm almost there ready for the suspension upgrade next week...

 

i'll let u all know how it goes.. sorry to drop out, but i cannot risk not having these on time..

matz, as i said above, i apologise for dropping out mate, but needs must, if u need these luke has them in at the same price as above, give him a ring (not wishing to scupper the group buy but i think everyone who showed an interest can be accomodated by luke)

i needed mine delivered by next weekend so had to dip out and go to luke at zcentre who has them in stock for the same price, £150 delivered, sorry but i couldnt wait for this to move on.. impatient maybe, but i'm running on a tight schedule and needs must..

Guys thanks to Luke i have to pull out, how he can jump in and spoil the GB at the last second is beyond me. In his words he has them in, i'm now left to go back and undo the 5 sets i have reserved. He has them in stock so you guys are all ok, i just expected more from a "professional"

i'm new here, if i've tread on anyones toes and spoilt things then i apologise..

 

myself and other members asked what was happening with this with NO REPLY... what was i expected to do?? re-schedule the work until i got an answer??

 

as far as i know only myself has bought these from Luke, so i see no reason for you to pull out chris, theres still 4 people wanting these isnt there, and i'm sure you'd sell the 5th set...

 

also chris, when u said "the 5 sets i'd reserved" doesthat mean u dont have them in stock? my only reason for asking is that it would have been "professional" of you to have told me this on this thread when i was asking about then and stating my deadline..

 

i feel the blame for the breakdown of this group buy cant justifiably be put on lukes doorstep, i know hes helped me to meet my deadlines when no-one else could so hes done me a big favour...

Luke came on this thread and said he'd sort the springs out after i'd already set the wheels in motion, his thread was deleted. You were non stop jumping the gun because you were in a rush which is fair enough. There was a date that the GB list would close which you didnt want to stick to.

group buy ends 1st February 2006...

 

i was asking for 3 days AFTER this before i went elsewhere, now correct me if i'm wrong, but i expected once the closing date had arrived and the numbers met, that the goods could be paid for and dispatched..

 

if i was misguided in the ways of this forums trading rules and was wrong to expect what had been arranged then its MY FAULT, and not Lukes, he helped me out and thats the main for me...

 

now if you'd have said once the 5 had signed up "once the deadline for the group buy is reached i'll take a deposit and THEN reserve/order springs, which will be with you on the 20th February" I would have instantly dipped out as this wouldnt have fitted in with my plans..

 

as i say, if i'd misread the situation i apologise to all concerned, no harm intended to any member (or trader) on this forum, not my style, i just have deadlines to meet...

As this group buy was coming to a close a couple of members were thinking of pulling out due to various reasons.

On the 1st of Feb I contacted the members by PM to see if they were in or out.

I never edited the first post to say who was still in, but.......

I got a definitive 5 and sent Chris a PM to say 'we now have 5'

Chris replied to say that he would get onto it.

A few days later I PM'ed Chris to see how things were getting on, Chris replied but my PM Box was full (yes I am an arsehole :p ) When I realised this I resent the PM and also posted on this thread.

Then Chris had posted on this thread.

I never saw Lukes post or know when/what he was posted.

Shame this has gone tits up.

 

p.s. I still want some springs.......
