Heard this for the first time in AGES today, brings back some great memories!

Anyone else got songs like that?

Echo Beach - Martha and The Muffins. I was a young 16 year old ( I may have been only 15  ) and had blagged my way into a gig at Stafford Poly (The Salford Jets were on the bill.............or was it The Mekons???) and whilst this song was playing I tapped off with a rather attractive 18 year old.

Didn't get home till the early hours........................ :D :D

Jane Wiedlin - Rush hour 1988 I think. Reminds me of my first trip abroad. I was 9 I think and we went to France on an old Sealink British Ferries ship from Weymouth to Cherbourg.

Now, I think that tune was being played over the tannoy as we boarded it. Can't quite remember though.

The same tune was played as I boarded a Brittany Ferries vessel for Spain, I think it was the MV 'Bretagne' en-route to Santander. This was going back a bit as well, must have been early 90s I think.

It's the ONLY track that brings back memories.

when i was 18 i took my dads new car out for a blast, we were on a country road next to nissan, comming to a juction with a steep bank onto the main road, i forgot about the turn and the junction, we took off!!!! cleared the main road and landed in the field opposite!. while we were flying thru the air, it all seemed like slow motion and blasting out of the stereo was

'Just like Paradise' by Dave Lee Roth

i'll never forget that song.
