I've read in the buyers guide that 1989-1990 can suffer from valve and head problems??

Would this make it wise to steer away from buying one of that year??

Thanks Mark

Not really mate.

1989-90 is the year they z32 was launched. As with every car any problems only show up once people start to use them in the real world, not a factory simulation.

Consequently on earlier cars these would have been fixed under warranty at the time, then Nissan would have re-developed the components for later cars so the problem would not continue.

Plus I believe more 300zxs were sold in 1990 than any other year (someone will correct me if I'm wrong there :p ), therefore in numbers terms (not % of cars sold) it is logical that more 1990 models developed faults.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
