Finally got my car over a pit this morning, you know how hard it is with jacks and ramps, or am i just getting bigger, anyway looks like both cats are blowing but the rest of the exhaust system is in good condition. Two questions are the pipes to the rear boxes stainless steel as standard?because thats what it looks like plus they've got Nissan stamped on them (maybe i've answered that myself :nelson: ) and if i just replace the cats with decats and leave the rest stock, is this ok? (i think it is, just want somebody else to confirm).

my pipes on the rear boxes are going rusty so are not stainless.

you probably could have an upgraded oem exhaust.
