I have been watching this guys 300zx bodykits for a while now as I always thought they where to cheap to be true, awahen I was selling my Shark front a bidder who was bidding on it and did'nt win, bidded on this body kit well over a month ago and still has not left a feedback for it. Which probably means he still has not recived it, now this seller has made his feedback private again?? he is always changing his feedback from private to viewable, all sounds fookin dodgy to me. IMHO

I would'nt say that him not leaving feedback means it was dodgy (I sometimes dont and vice versa..despite smooth transactions)...but the "private" feedback status I always take as dodgy and avoid.

Whats the point of having feedback if you can hide it. You wouldnt hide it unless you had something wrong so yes sounds dodgy. Although I have had contact with the sellers and he seemed OK to me. I Was going to buy and pick up and he had no problem with that idea. Didnt end up buying in the end though.

I always try to leave feedback as this is what distinguishes dodgy sellers from good ones but would never buy from someone with private feedback...

Best to be safe then sorry, unless the seller will let peeps collect in person if they wanted, suppose i wouldnt mind traveling few miles to inspect product for piece of mind specially if not sure about seller.

a mate of mine got a similar kit - a veilside STYLE kit from ebay (dunno if it was this seller tho to be fair) and the lads at the bodyshop had to hack it to pieces t make it fit.. took them ages to sort it, good job they were mates of his...

u dont get a kit the quality of veilside or jun or any of the major top makes for 250 quid, not in my pinion anyway..

any pics of it on car ?

Buying from someone with private feedback is more risky, but I wouldn't say never buy from them. I know someone who's feedback is kept private simply because they buy and sell from ebay to make pocket money, and don't want people to see what they paid for stuff.

Another guy bought a gk from me and had private feedback, and when I asked why he said he sells chromed car bits on ebay and a "rival" seller had ended a load of his auctions and filled his feedback list with abuse.

Might be worth asking them why it's private, using "contact seller"

any pics of it on car ?

Its in the process of it getting done.. had to recruit some friends to do it as you probably know with my other posts...

but they will come.. shortly..

all i got is a video on my mobile at the moment with it temp being hung on the car.. but some trimming is needed before it goes on fully.

watch this space.. i will update you all shortly.

I've seen this one but always felt the seller was a bit dubious, but hey, obviously not, good buy.

I thought it was too good to be true... but turns out he makes them himself...and can make anthing that you want... i enquired about side skirts.... and only 50£ thats with posting... how cool...

will post some photos when the car is done.. and better yet you guys can see it when its done.

Have to agree with both sides on the Private feedback on ebay....

Ive bought loadsa dirty underwear (not for me honest :D ) and had in the past made my feedback private to stop peeps looking at the quality garments

BUT

On the other hand....I will never buy from an ebayer that has private feedback....Plenty more fish in the sea ;)

So to completly contradict myself I would block my feedback sometimes but would never buy from blockers..lol

PS....incidently I have 100% positive feedback over nearly 200 transactions :nana2: :slap: :nana2:

Just seen today user is no longer registered, I wonder if the people who have paid for their body kits will get them or a refund??????????? I have always dreaded the time I buy something for a lot of money off a memeber then they go un registered.
