I thought I would post this poll as it has happened to me before, and know I have just given up posting in items for sale. If I see somebody wants something I have got I will pm them, as in most items for sale posts some MF always puts in their 2ps worth and ruins it. :rant:

Its not just Chunks thread bud, its been happening a lot recently and I for one is fooked off with it.

The idea of not letting unsubscribed members make for sale ads is to protect our members from dodgy sellers. Not to make money for the club! As far as i'm aware, wez can be trusted so there is nowt wrong with his thread!

hi speedemon, firstly i no i owe you an apology regarding a coment i made about the steering wheel you were selling, i didnt mean to ruin the thread , i wasnt thinking about others looking at it , or intending to put them off , just did a catchphrase thing , imho ,, off course, and i was looking for a new wheel for the zed , so wasnt hunting to snipe someone ,so please accept my appologies for making stupid coments , wasnt intentional, bud! i usally think before i type , sorry it took so long to say so as well !!! :o

TBH doesn't bother me. Let them put what they want, free country..oh sorry no it isn't we are all being watched by cameras and computers assigned with one goal only and that is to punish law abiding people!

On some forums, once the ad is placed, no one can reply to it except the author. If the seller submits plenty of info on the goods and how to purchase/pay etc, then why would anyone need to reply to it ? any questions, ask the seller direct by means of whatever he stated in the ad in the 1st place, simple ;)

Apology excepted bud, but this was not just about that time as I sold the wheel to Maxsunny. Its been happening a lot recently to quite a few members for sale threads, off the top of my head : Chunks Amps, Jocks turbo's and Wes' mates Z. But like I said thanks for the apology mate ;)

No mate as Greg says there has been quite a few other members doing it. ;)

The finger has been pointed. Yes there were several post on one subject, and yes I spose I was hopeing that the price would be reduced, but only to a more reasonable price. The items being offered were and still are what I am looking for, I just dont see why I should have to pay more just because its another member selling. Yes I could have gone elsewhere and probably will now. All the posts on the subject were aimed at one member and one member only, none of the posts were removed. Yet several members found they had to impose on the thread when actually they had no interest in what was being offered for sale. If I have upset the member in question, then I apologize, but I would hope that it was taken in the context it was written and no more.

I think the important thing is that you sabotaged a for sale thread in the hope that the price would be lowered by putting other people off with some of your comments, try sending a pm to the seller and making an offer. He may have had someone pay the asking price he wanted if you hadnt made some comments, why should the seller loose out because you think you have the right to pay what u want???? Just my opinion, dont jump down my throat beacause of it, im not in the mood tonight. :rant:
