Im interested in the lambo style doors for my Zed, my only dilema is who makes the best kit does it seal the car properly as i will be taking the car to SPL venues and air leaking out will reduce my score .. also who stocks them and how much?

 

anyone on here already have them fitted? are they just bolt on like they say or are there mods involved?

Kits are around £2,500 or something like that. Cost of a glorious set of spilt rims which add far more to the car's overall appearance.

do a search on here there are various ones for the z but some of them dont open high enough

£1k sounds about right, well £1-£1.5k depending on brand.

Ive been having a look at these for a while, some people say there crap, some say there good. it depends where you get them from, the link below shows them on alot of cars, even a 300. From the pic its funny looking, i bet it looks great in the flesh tho.

All i can tell you is i paid for a kit from these in July last year, i have now issued a small claims case against them.

 

in my opinion, DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM, THEY ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED

 

after months and months of non delivery, i contacted the police, the company then had the fooking nerve to invoice me £120 for time taken to speak to the police wtf?

 

the case has been issued last week, and im still none the wiser as yet, so on top of the price, i have now paid £80 to file the case, and still have fook all to show for it

Thanks guys .. but i have to blow the idea out of the window .. just been looking at pics and stuff and it seeams pointless me doing an ICE show car and you cant see the door instal when they are open .. but thanks for the advice

for fooks sake... how many times .. right this is the last fookin time im gonna go anywhere near the lambo door subject..

 

if you want vertical door opening to 90 degrees and the strongest hinge money can buy you can get the gt factory lambo hinge.

 

do a search on it, i went over this too many times and i have proven the reliability and build of these also the opening hight to 90 degrees

ok i finally ordered my hinges today.

 

i could of gone with the vdc kit or the decah but they are not good enough, the problem is the door wobble when up and they dont go the full 90 degrees upwards.

 

the ones made by gt factory are better and they are weld ons, however its easy to put bolt holes in.

 

i ordered mine today and they should be here in a week or two, as soon as they are i will post some info and fitting pics.

they are the dogz *****x very good metal billet chromoloy, cnc machined and in a polished look. nothing beats these hinges.

You've got it all wrong. Thats why the T-Tops are there. Take them off and leave the windows down. That way you can take a run a jump into your seat. That impresses people a lot more than Lambo doors! :rofl:

when i got all me bits together.. just waiting on alloys, brakes, and the leather for the interior to still arrive from katzkin in the states..

They are a lot cheaper than I thought then. Still awful though.
