Guys having a real dilema here .... I had a bump in my car just before christmas and need a new front bumper but rather than stay standard I would like to put an aftermarket bumper on.

 

I like the 99 spec but really like the scarab front bumper aswell. :headvswal

 

CAn you gys tell me which bumper you think goes best ?

 

I dont have side skirts so dont know if the scarab would be too much.

 

Open to all sugestions!

I like the 99 Spec and Strosek. However the 99spec is the only bumper that looks right without side skirts. All other bumpers need at least side skirts too.

Will you be fitting it yourself?-as all the f/glass bumpers take a bit of fettling!

99spec looks best. Scarab is ok on some cars, but it's fibreglass, awful stuff. Poor fit, poor longevity.

 

Agree with Legrath, car needs skirts for sure with a Scarab bumper and deep dish rims. At that point it starts to become rather nice.

...I prefer the standard early bumpers with the Stillen extensions TBH.

Early bumper with Stillen extension....(my favourite)...plus, the Stillen grille is the only aftermarket grille that looks nice imho.

Looks best as a LWB IMHO. More balanced.

Best looking front bumper on a Zed has to chunks one. It looks good without sideskirts aswell.
