Ive asked this before but has anyone got a oil filter relocation kit fitted to their zed as i have a trust/greddy one which i have bolted on the suspension turet where the cruise control is normaly fitted but not plumbed in as yet as im worried about pumping oil up hill to it thanks taff.

Never heard of a re-location kit for a z, why would

you need one, surely it's easy enough to get to anyway.

Have heard of them for a supra before.

Not heard of one for the Z,why are you wanting to relocate the oil filter?

They fit them to skylines 200sxs and z32s in japan i know the orginal filter is not too bad to get to but under the bonnet is even easeir plus they have fitting for oil pressure and oil temp built into the housing under the bonnet easy to connect gauge sensors to.plus never going to get hit buy anything under the bonnet.

I dont see any point in them myself, certainly not any point worth risking having a negative affect on oil pressure and flow. You have to go under car to remove sump plug, so you just remove oil filter at same time. Its position means it cant hit anything anyway, and Chris @ getgreddy sells the oil pressure and temp sandwich plates for the stock position.

Ive had this reponse before i got it cheap £50 i just wanted to know if anyone has one on there z i take it thats no then.They tend to put these kits on high bhp cars in japan i dont know if its anything to do with keeping filter away from engine heat to keep oil temp down .plus its got to be easeir to fit sensors under bonnet than on a sandwich plate.
