My zx bit me hard tonight.......bitch

came off a roundabout on a left hand bend, arse kicked out right, so i was 90 degrees to the road, then 90 left, back 90 right, 90 left then finally back another 90 to the right, so im now on the outside lane of the dual, facing across the road to the inside pavement.

i never realised just how much of the seat a human arse could suck in...

luckily, managed to escape hitting anything, but was only luck, nothing else.

cold tyres, wet roads covered in salting grit didnt really help matters i guess..

be right back anyway, need to change me undies

That was lucky!

One reason why I don't use the zed at this time of the year.

Similar thing happened to me after I'd had a few things fixed and a few other things tweaked- the car was 80bhp up on what it was. Driving on an uphill sliproad to join the M3 (Basingstoke junction), I was overtaking a few cars and a lorry in the right-hand lane. Forgetting for a moment I couldn't drive as aggresively as I used to be able to, full boost came on in 2nd and the back kicked sideways to the right, pointing me towards the lorry. Caught it and got it back straight sharpish, but my missus was a bit quiet for the rest of the journey back. :slap:

Valueable lesson, that...

there was a fiesta with 4 blokes in it behind me who stopped,

the driver said "fair play mate, you must be able to handle that to have not lost it"

Are you sure they weren't chasing you Mart?

What rubber you got on the rear and how worn? I bet you still got HICAS as well. With the HCAS eliminated these cars are far more predictable/ controlerble once they break away. Having said that I went and spun 3 x 360 down the A41 second day of ownership and even though I concider my driver skills above average. Having raced bikes, Karts and even got my Palmer Audi licence, it was so violet and quick it took me by suprise and it was luck not skill that saved me. I've never let her get out from under my control since.

You know your alive now anyway.

Good rubber, new not long ago in fact

hicas gone too mate

What do you call good rubber cause over 6 years of ownership I tryed most and in the wet nothing comes close to Bridgestone SO2's not even vaguely.

IMO TOYO'S are absolute cr*p even though they are better than some, but I here people rating them hear. Got em on my truck and they don't like cold weather at all.

pirelli nerozero is about the best i have found mate EVER

mileage is good too to be fair, they just so damn expensive

Are they the Rosso's ZR rating cos I got them in my Volvo and they need a good bit of warming up to work well. Had them on Z once and I assure you if you think these are good trye the Bridgies nest time and youll not want to go back to the Pirellis ever again. You have to get them as Porsche fitment only these days.

Pirrellis mate, thats all i know lol

That'll be them. I carn't stress enough to people what a difference this Tyre make to the Zes. It was original fittment for UK and German Zed and just suit it chariteristics.
