I have done a search for this but have not found anything so here we are asking questions again!

The autobox on my Z is slowly dying. I know this and have accepted the fact. At the moment I can drive around the problem but obviously need to get it sorted. I have found a few places offering boxes but due to past experience I would like to make sure they are the correct unit. To do this the part number and any other details would be greatly appreciated. I have a 1990 Twin and it has the little buttons on the dash for power and hold if that makes any difference.

Thanks all!

HTH with those positions on the selecter it sounds like you have an import also depending on wot you have to spend try uprated bos from se nistek in london much better g/box

Yeah I forgot to mention that its a JDM. I have enough to spend if you know what I mean. Don't want to spend more tham I have to. I'll give nistek a shout and see what they say but I'd still like the numbers if poss just so I can keep looking myself.

I dont think the box is any different whether JDM or UK. Its just the controls that operate different. I put a JDM box in my UK TT and it works exactly as my UK TT old box worked. I think its the same if you put a box from a UK car into a JDM. The auto ecu and controls might be different but the box just does what its told.

Auto gearbox numbers: twin turbo non turbo

UK and Jap spec box are interchangable.

If you fancy going manual Baggins has a couple of conversion kits in stock according to his post in the Ztech section. They did a great job on mine :)
