try resoldering the joint behing the speedo as they can suffer from dry ones causing problems.

don't condem it yet.if you are not confident in doing it some people on here eg andyp can probably assist you for a small fee .

it'll be really fast on full boost and revs a bit higher then!

I have this, every now and then, the speedo just goes all the way round to off the clock. I have to bang the top of the speedo cluster hard to get it to go back or switch the engine on and off.

 

Could it be something to do with the jap to uk speedo convertors (most likely)or is it more to do with the speedo and its connection itself ?

Buy yourself a Sat Nav and use that for a speedo. Its more accurate anyway. :rofl:
