Well since having my auto changed to a manual the car seems to run better however 0-60 is still around the slow 8 - 9 second marks.

 

I know previously the car had a code 34 problem, i have not checked to see if that is still there yet as i never have the time and im not that great with cars . . . yet that is.

 

would the code 34 retard the car this much??

Also when/if i try to put away quickly the car tends to really hesitate for a second or so, again might this be the code 34 or possibly something else???

I know i need to change the plugs still :headvswal

 

And to top my rant off ive just got back from the pictures at boldon (north east) and went to the asda next door and left my leather gloves there :headvswal

yes, With the car is safety mode with a code 34 it had a big affect on performance. Seen 100bhp loss on the dyno with a car in safety mode.

 

The Hesitation is more likely to be something else however. TPS Setting, Dirty thottle valves, spark plugs....many things

yes safety boost has a big effect on performance, makes a zed feel slow, almost as if the turbo's arent working.

 

As for hesitation, theres a million and one threads on that subject, do a search.

Well the stuck boost gauge thingy is still showing as boosting to the max :confused:

my best on a Gtech pro was 4.7 secs :cool:

:bow: :bow: nice, not sure my zeds quite there yet, but id be happy with mid 5s low 6 i guess as its an auto not so much skill to launching just point and hang on!!

you changed those split throttle body pipes yet, you also need to give it a good service, ie oil and filter, petrol filter, ALL the plugs and also clean all the connectors you can find

I have change the pipes yeah, the fuel filter is spot on and quite new according to Martyn and zen garage when he did my manual conversion.

I have an air filter waiting to be fitted if you fancy a job one weekend :D

Still need all the plugs and the connectors cleaning.

just ordered some rear shockies too so im getting there :D
