is it worth getting my original ones reconditioned to sell?

they will have all paper work to say tested and recons.

if your getting them done by a trader ie zen garage z tech or whatever the new turbos will be on exchange basis so you wont be able to keep your tubbies

it's by a different company and they hinted doing this as a option so i'm seeing if it would be worth my time as i would have to spend money to get any back.

if you sell the turbos as they are then i dont think you would get much recon turbos cost a fair bit £500-£700 so doubt its worth doing that

Getting them done cheap is a false economy and would probably end up being more hassle than anything else mate.

im not sure mate tbh most turbos are on exchange basis so you pay £700 for a set of new recon turbos for example so unless there larger housing or stronger internals then you wont make any additional money or very little,not much money in turbos TBH unless you DIY
