A question Ref Top Rad Hard Pipe Earthing

As above. I have fitted a Top hose hard pipe kit the other day and it wouldn't work. I wouldn't give a reading. So today i thoght to have a look and wonderd if it was an earthing problem. So i decided to take a wire from the pipe to body. This then gave me a reading. I thought great, thats the problem. :hyper: . So i fitted an earth to the sender. This then sent my reading to show full temp constantly(going straight to earth). Has anyone else had this problem. I have solved it at the moment by attaching my wire to body and having a crimp connection on the other,tucked in under the silicone piping :headvswal. Any ideas lads LOL ;)

    What youv'e done is right bud-just got to fit the wire neatly to the sender BODY. Have you got a boss welded in or an adapter?
