I have what looks like a dated blitz tubby timer, can i buy a new one and just unplug the old one from the connector a little way behind the unit, and then just connect a new, or do they have to all be rewired in??

cheers in advance

Mike

From what i have been told all the turbo timer harnesses are the same HKS GREDDY BLITZ APEXI etc .If you are fitting a more modern timer this should plug into the old loom but you may need to run extra wires to the ecu for the full auto operation of the eg rev sensor .And also the handbrake switch wire .

My car has a small connection fitted by the drivers left leg on the centre console. I have seen another z fitted with a turbo timer at this position, is this the normal place to fit it and how can I tell which manufacturer's turbo timer the connector is for (if it is) ?
