OK guys im stuck on so many choices of boost controllers. I will be getting my ECU upgraded in the next few weeks followed by fitting of a Apexi induction kit and boost controller.

There are so many electronic boost controllers out there but always seem to be very expensive for the same job as a manual one. The only reason I like the electronic ones is that you have an incar adjustment and another colourful electronic widget to play with.

Which ones do you guys find good and where did you buy them. Also Manual or Electronic?? :(

TIA

Dave,

IMHO, you cant beat the GReddy profec E-01, its far from the cheapest, but you will understand why if you get to see one in use.

I bought mine from Chris@GetGReddy in our traders section.

Other than that if you want a slightly lower spec, Ive also had the GReddy profec B spec 2, its cheaper than the E-01, and does a more basic job, but still gets the same results!!

dont listen to Chunk he gets £100 for every Profec E-01 he recommends ;) only joking.

I have a Blitz DSBC-R and although its the only one ive had (so far) im pretty happy with it. will be cheaper than the E-01 and not as many features etc.

Apexi AVC-R is also good but beware of a dodgy batch circulating around the likes of e-bay. HKS EVC's are good but very expensive. Ah sod it get an E-01 ;)

blitz sbc is also a good one,had one on mine, simple to fit/use so an allrounder

but as said on a budget the probec b is a good one aswell

Cheers guys, looks like im heading more towards the E-01 as I could get the mtching turbo timer. Does noone use a manual boost controller?
